New Eyes

Just as the divinely and timely delivered nine assignments guided me to see myself, my development and general human development with “new eyes,” the ego insights guided me to see ten years of work with “new eyes.”

When You Change The Way You Look At Things,

The Things You Look At Change.

There are reasons these two quotes have informed, guided and reminded me for decades. After giving myself permission, the first reminds me to assert my free will to see things differently. The second, of how quickly and easily things can change when you invite and allow a shift in perspective: both physically and philosophically.

The Work

While pursuing the words ego and identity down the rabbit hole, many things happened; most notably:

  1. The rabbit hole led to the additional pursuit of the word sentient and the term human condition.
  2. Language played a much bigger role than I knew.
  3. The reasons for so many things that unfolded in my life, my work and the deliveries became clear. The stages and trajectory of preparation seemed obvious.

 

It took some time to go through all that work with “the new eyes” and to get a grip on what all these words really meant, or more specifically, what they currently meant. It appeared that all the connections and the final pieces of the puzzle had been delivered. (Now, I just had to figure out how to put it all together coherently and in the best order.)

 

Surprise!

What was revealed then was so surprising that I had to work on:

  • “Digesting” its importance.
  • Giving myself permission to accept and be willing to believe something so important was “given” to me, because I had learned that if I didn’t, self-sabotage would prevail.
  • Accepting the stewardship of such world-changing revelations.
  • The multitude of fears and challenges that were created.

Some of it was so surprising that it alerted me to the potential risks of revealing the information without proper warnings and whatever preparation for receiving could be provided. (This was just another challenge in planning the order.)

 

Not Surprising

Considering my profession and education, and that my most used reference book is Roget’s Super Thesaurus, it was not surprising was that many of the changes were language-related, and specifically, synonym-related. It came down to language on multiple levels.

Here are some that have either been touched upon already or seem gentle enough to be revealed.

  • What I had been referring to as the side-effects from gaining self-awareness and self-acceptance were shown to be natural shifts in understanding, perception and interpretation.
    • It is these natural shifts that made me aware of the need for warnings and that even sharing the word too soon could create natural shifts people may not choose (yet). For some, the word will be an earworm and create natural shifts without your consent.
  • Levels and development shifted into ascension and evolution.
    • It was the word blocking that alerted me to ascension. Blocking became a barrier to ascension, from third chakra to fourth: from body to soul, from physical to spiritual, ascension to soul consciousness.
  • Basic social/relational-emotional needs became ego and survival needs.
  • The list of missing milestones for any age became the missing links, as well as Points of Personal Empowerment or Points of Personal Power. (PoPE or PoPP, you choose.)
  • Low self-esteem had some new synonyms:
    • a negative self-image/concept
    • a hindering identity
    • inauthentic
    • a deficient third chakra
    • soul-sick
    • susceptible to manipulation, grooming, gas lighting, and brainwashing
