First and foremost, my prayers for peace and healing go out to all those affected by the two mass shootings in the US today and worldwide recently.

Please be an instrument of peace and a light-bringer as often as you can; you never know who feels out of control, powerless and unloved.

Second, I really thought the mass shooting in Sandy Hook would turn the tides in our gun control and gun safety laws being it involved children. I was wrong. What’s it going to take?

What’s it going to take to improve mental health services in this country?

Third, if our children are being influenced by terrorist groups overseas, we are not doing a good job making them feel valued or that they belong. Cults and gangs are successful at recruiting because they prey on people who don’t believe in themselves and don’t feel anyone believes in them. It’s similar to the way pedophiles groom their victims and their families.

Please, do what you can to make all children and teens feel accepted, loved and valued.

My heart is heavy. I pray for peace.

I had quite a time of it trying to release the sorrow-energy and raise my vibrational frequency. It felt inappropriate to reach for gratitude while so many are suffering. Since I know how unhealthy those low-vibrations are to my body and that I can better serve by putting “good vibes” out there, I let go of the guilt.

As more people devote their life to practicing peace, there will be more people out there that will radiate peace.

This will affect and raise the vibrations of each person they come in contact with,

and so on

and so on.

I believe, this is how we use our lives in the service of world peace.

Each one of us makes a difference.

With Much Love,

Rev. Michele
