Practicing gratitude is one of the most powerful and healthy habits we can cultivate to maintain a good mood, a healthy immune system, a high-vibrational body, and a healthy metabolism. 

 

The general reason people fail to develop any practice or habit they know is in their best interest for health, happiness and peace is they forget.

Thanks to our pattern-recognition brain, for me at least, the alphabet gratitude is the easiest to remember because my subconscious does it for me. After beginning (with the letter “A” of course), I woke up every day after knowing what the letter of the day was.

If that isn’t enough, the beginning of the alphabet is perfectly designed for multiple triggers:

  • A – The letter, the word, and people make ‘hey’ sound like ‘ay.’
  • B – The letter, a bee or the word ‘be’
  • C – The letter, the words see and sea, in Spanish it means ‘yes’

I have mealtime, bedtime, waking and other regular practices. I also do rampages: lists which increasing the time building and sustaining the vibration.

I find running through categories helpful. Such as:

  • Animals
  • Appliances
  • Bands
  • Body parts
  • Birds
    Electronics
  • Foods
  • Gems and minerals
  • Geographical locations
  • Use the gifts you have received as triggers for thanking and blessing those who gave you those gifts.
  • The inventors of anything you see, hear, smell, taste, or touch/use.
  • People you’ve known and all people named ___. 
  • Professions and services
  • Spices
  • Values
