My Last Letter to My Dad

My Last Letter to My Dad

The following is the last letter I wrote to my dad. I wrote it after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He passed away due to complications from the pancreatic cancer surgery a few months later.

The reason I wrote a letter instead of talking with him is because, knowing him as I did, I knew he would be resistant and defensive, and I would never get out all the information I felt could help him.  I am sharing this letter in the hopes that it may help someone else who is having issues with their pancreas, knows someone who does or recognizes the characteristics and can prevent this outcome.

Louise Hay on Fibromyalgia

Louise Hay on Fibromyalgia

If you or someone you know is suffering with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, please do not dismiss this alternative perspective, and please share it with anyone suffering.

I have been a follower of Louise Hay’s teachings for many years and often use her books as references for guiding myself and others to self-heal.

There is no reference to fibromyalgia in the copies of You Can Heal You Body or You Can Heal Your Life I have. I don’t know if there are updated versions that include it, but I was very excited to read an article last week in an old magazine I picked up at the library. I was equally excited with the synchronicity that May is Fibromyalgia (and Lupus) Awareness Month.

How Are Your Chakras Functioning?

How Are Your Chakras Functioning?

Why Should I Check My Chakra Functioning Regularly?

Our chakras are our emotional guidance system. They can provide us with an early message we can respond to, so the message doesn’t have to progress (get louder) through physical pain, dis-comfort, dis-order or dis-ease in order to get us to give it attention.

Sounds like an early warning or early detection system.

Seems like a good prevention option to me!

Perhaps it is time to learn about your chakras!

What Is the Purpose of Physical Pain? Part 2

What Is the Purpose of Physical Pain? Part 2

I want to make it clear that this series of articles is intended to persuade you to think differently, to see things differently and to choose to believe differently, by providing a logical dissection of the subject.

It is intended to guide you to believing in and acting from your spiritual self, from knowing you are not a body and to caring for your spirit and your bodymind, instead of just your physical body.

If you are not ready for this change in your life, you can stop reading here.

If you already have the mindset that you are spirit and are demonstrating it with your behavior , you can stop reading here and come back when I begin addressing treatment options, as there may be some new information for you.

However, there is one more thing before we can continue the exploration of physical pain, and answering the first question posed in Part 1.

For those of you who have already read part one, I wanted you to know that I added #4 to the conscious reasons. Check it out here.

Now, on with the discussion.

Sharing the Vibrational Wealth

Sharing the Vibrational Wealth

As I continue to work on the Purpose of Physical Pain series, I wanted to share some of my spiritual practice and learning. I haven’t shared much of my spiritual practice before, because to be honest, I didn’t think anyone would be interested. I am at a point where it is more important for me to share.

I have been collecting ‘affirmations’ for the healing or treatment portion of the Chronic and Recurring Physical Pain series (CRPP), but I don’t want to wait to share some of them with you.

Overcoming Programming by Reprogramming

Overcoming Programming by Reprogramming

The full title of this should be Overcoming How We’ve Been Programmed by Western Medicine, Advertising Messages and the Pharmaceutical Companies to Care for Our Physical Bodies by Reprogramming (It’s just too long, but it is more explanatory.)

The following comment was posted to 8 Reasons People Do Nothing Or Next to Nothing to Eliminate Chronic and Recurring Physical Pain  on 2-24-2014. This post is the reply.

Can’t someone believe everything you have said but have the attitude, “I can’t be bothered” because they truly don’t want to put in the work it would take to fix it?

Everyone wants to be better and healthier but not willing to do the work.

The pharmaceuticals have enabled the masses to feel better without doing any significant work. For most, ignorantly I might add, that route has the biggest payout with the least amount of work. How do you overcome that?

What Is the Purpose of Physical Pain? Part 1

What Is the Purpose of Physical Pain? Part 1

I ended the last post with the pictured quote and these questions:

  1. What is the real purpose of pain?
  2. What does this quote really mean?

In the next few articles, we will explore physical pain to answer the first question. (I am many steps ahead of this and I promise the exploration is eye-opening!)  The second question will be answered right after that.

8 Reasons People Do Nothing Or Next to Nothing to Eliminate Chronic and Recurring Physical Pain

This series of article is unfolding in a non-linear fashion; that is to say, it’s coming in no particular order. Therefore, it is in constant need of closer examination to determine the best order in which it should be delivered to maximize the power of persuasion and this opportunity to change minds, change perceptions and to heal the world! 🙂

So, I was guided to post this article now which, for the most part was delivered as a stand-alone. [I told you weeks ago that it was up to 3,000 words. I can’t even tell you where it’s at now!]

Chronic and Recurring Physical Pain: Part Two- The Three Levels of Caring for the Physical Body

Chronic and Recurring Physical Pain: Part Two- The Three Levels of Caring for the Physical Body

Just to repeat: The main point of this series of articles is to help you eliminate your current chronic and/or recurring physical pain, illness, dis-comfort, dis-order, and dis-ease, or recurring injuries and accidents. The added bonus of learning how to do so will be to show you how to minimize them in the future (chronic or recurring).

So, based on my theory of evolving needs, there are three paths to accomplish the goal: basic, advanced and evolved. [fb-button]
